The Amber Sword - v4c2p2

The bad feeling turned into a sudden burst of ecstasy, and Brendel wondered aloud, “Wait, do you mean the legendary, indestructible Golden Heart? The legendary heart of the Golden Dwarves that promised immortality?”

Brendel’s voice was almost shaking. The Golden Heart had actually appeared in the game before. Its attributes include doubling the maximum HP cap and defensive power cap and increasing life recovery abilities by 300%. In addition, the heart would no longer be a vital spot.

While the first three did not entice him too much, the final perk did a blow. With that weakness gone and taking his Unyielding Talent into account, he can be practically unkillable to most run-of-the-mill enemies.

At that moment, he wanted to jump up from the bed and hug the little female dragon and give her a kiss.

“Hey, seems like you know it quite well. That’s the one I was talking about.”

“You planted that one on me?” Brendel had conflicted feelings about having a heart transplant, regardless that it was only in a game. He was a living, breathing human being within this game, and he always felt like he might become some freak if any parts of him were replaced.

“Of course not.” Aloz shook her head, “Do you think that I just have something like that in my pockets? Who would know that you would just damage your heart out of the blue. I had no choice but to stuff the Titan’s Lightning Core into you.”

“It’s a good thing that it is fully energized, if not I would not have been able to stuff that thing into your little body.”

“I……” Brendel could not believe what he had just heard. Dammit, you shouldn’t mess around like that. He felt bitter; it sounded like she used him for an experiment. What human uses a Titan’s Lightning Core as his heart? Wouldn’t that require changing the blood in his veins into electricity?

He could already see the picture of him spewing electricity from his wounds the next time he got hurt. He shuddered at the thought.

“Why do you look so gloomy, you look like you're about to die." Aloz immediately noticed Brandel's abnormality: "Are you doubting my skills?"

Brendel looked at Aloz; his gaze was screaming “heck yes I doubt you.”

“Ugh. You should just check for yourself then.”

Brendel was mildly surprised. Aloz wanted him to test out his own body’s condition, which was an ability that people have once they enter the Elemental Realm, but Brendel opened his attributes panel instead.

He found out that all his attributes were normal and that his health was in a good state. His eyes swept across the EP and Recovery EP columns and found that they had been doubled. Moreover, his Willpower, which was already extremely high, had gone up another notch.

And they all had an extra-label behind their names: Energy Strengthening. It was clearly due to the Lightning Core.

But theoretically, the Lightning Core should belong in the equipment category, and Brendel was a little confused as to why he had not seen such a thing in the equipment catalogue before. He subconsciously opened the panel of the Enhancement Crystals, and was stunned.

He saw that the Spectral Knight Crystal was still lying soundly in the arm reinforcement slot, and in addition, there was also a shiny thing in the torso reinforcement slot.

Lightning Core: EP, Recovery EP: Doubled. Willpower +20, Elemental Wind Pool: Doubled.

There was a shiny golden label behind the description.

An Enhanced Crystal Core from the Mythical Class.

Brendel was a bit speechless. He wondered if this was the blessing within a disaster. Purely weighing the gains and the losses, this one crystal alone completely outweighs the price of all the equipment he had lost. However, what would he do with the expanded Elemental Wind Pool?

He only had one or two cards on him that needed to use Elemental Wind.

Brendel was still in a daze when the little female dragon suddenly came up to him. When he came back to his senses, his eyes met the glittering golden eyes right by his face.

Aloz’s action startled him, “What are you doing?”

“You’ve got quite a few secrets. I just saw the elements fluctuate, you were checking your Elemental Pool, right? That’s strange, you haven’t reached Elemental Activation. How did you do that?” The little female dragon stared at him intensely, “And before that, you were so badly injured, you should have died seconds.”

“That’s weird.”

“Aren’t you going to explain?”

“Explain what?” Brendel asked, feeling guilty. How do I explain? I can’t say it was talent due to my bloodline, NPC’s don’t even have that. Or do I say that I’m a player?

The female dragon would claw him to death if he said that.

What was more was that these were his biggest secrets. Buga’s Silver Mages’ loved to study freaks like him.

He did not answer. Aloz wiggled her nose and started sniffing him. She scrunched her nose and whispered, “Sure enough……”

“Sure enough?”

Brendel suddenly felt strange because the little female dragon crawled onto his bed and buried her head into his collar to sniff him. Her hair was brushing against his face, and his heart fluttered.

The scent of the young girl was all he could smell. And as if the scent had magic, he soon felt body temperature rise.

“What are you doing, stop it right now.” Brendel was troubled, but he knew what was happening: he was getting an erection.

She was just a loli with a bad attitude; she had no chest, no ass, could not even compare to the half elf princess. But at this moment, he felt his heart pumping faster and his blood flow faster, and he started to wonder if he was a pervert.

He was dying inside, he hastily moved to one side, because certain parts of his body were obviously not under his control anymore, and although a blanket was covering him, there was an obvious protrusion. He was terrified that she might notice it.

The little female dragon suddenly turned back and stared at him warily, “Are you thinking of something naughty, perverted human?”

“No.” Brendel looked straight ahead and replied. He would not dare to let this terrifying female dragon find out the truth; she might just spit fire at him and make the merchant lady into a widow in anything but name for the rest of her life.

“Really?”

The little female dragon grinned. She suddenly flipped onto him, although she did not sit on that crucial spot, it excited Brendel. But the worst was yet to come, and she lowered her head and exhaled, biting the tip of Brendel’s nose, “Brendel, you’re a perverted human.”

Brendel shuddered.

The little female dragon’s hot breath pervaded his sense of smell; it was sweet and seductive. He even found her arrogant mannerisms adorable.

There was definitely something wrong here.

Brendel had a vague feeling that this was some sort of conspiracy, but his body still reacted like how a man would. The little female dragon looked down at him, then suddenly grabbed that important thing, making Brendel grunt.

The veins on his forehead were popping.

“You…...you devil.” Brendel finally realized that she was here to tease him.

“Humph, you’re clearly full of naughty thoughts.” The little female dragon whispered, “And you still deny it. You’re obviously in heat.”

“You wish!” Brendel was sweating, “What is that scent on you” He gritted his teeth and asked this question. He finally found out what the problem was.

“Top grade psychedelic drug, a Dragon Clan specialty, how is it?”

“How, my ass. You’d better not cross the line- Ooh!” Before Brendel could even finish his sentence he felt a blow in the groin. If he could move, he would have curled up like a shrimp.

The cute little female dragon seemed to have instantly turned into a demon.

“What do you want to do, perverted human?”

Brendel was in a cold sweat. He really couldn’t do anything about it. Though the little female dragon looked like a loli, but with one hand pressed on his chest, he was unable to move a finger.

“Hmmm, isn’t it exciting to cheat on your fiance in front of her?”

Brendel had no tears left to cry. All he could do was watch as the little female dragon smirked and showed off her adorable canines. As a dragon, her canines were like a vampire’s, tiny but sharp.

But it was at this time that they both heard a quiet cough from outside the door.

It was as if lightning struck him on a sunny day.

Sweating profusely, he turned around, and saw the princess standing outside the door. Her face was dark, and there was a female official with an equally odd expression standing behind her.

“How awful. You’re a princess, how could you peep on people having sex?” Aloz complained loudly, then jumped off the bed with a soft grunt, “What a killjoy!”

“I’ll leave it to you, Brendel!”

And with that, she flicked her hands and disappeared from the room.

But Brendel understood a very different message from what she had just said. “This is your punishment for giving my golden apples to someone else without permission. There will be no next time.”

No next time, huh. Brendel felt like he lost ten years of his life, every time he met with the little female dragon. He swore he never wanted to see that little female dragon a third time. He didn’t even know why she started picking on him. This was all bloody murder caused by one earring; Brendel felt like he couldn’t even cry anymore.

Then he heard a cold voice. “I’m sorry I disturbed you, Mr.Brendel, but remember to close the door next time.”

The princess turned around and walked away.
